LITTLE WHITE DRESS

Friday night I went to the movies and this young lady caught my eye. Why is she blog worthy one might ask …  my Camera skills might not have done the dress justice but the dress was so cute.I also really liked her gold belt as an individual piece.

What really caught my attention however was the fact that she owned her outfit   from her gold sandals on her feet  the rosette ring to her shades.

Her dress also reminded me of the fact that one of the must have pieces this   year is the LWD (Little White dress) preferably made of lace.  From a personal FPOV (Fashion Point Of View) I think if you are going to go lace it must be vintage … but to each there own.

CUTE, SEXY, EFFORTLESS

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!!! That is how I feel about this outfit....LOVE LOVE LOVE  the dress

UNDERSTATED SEXY

Love the lenght on the dress and the detail on the sleeves. Would wear  this out to dinner . LOVE IT!!!

I love My Jellies

Inspired by my last entry I decided to pay tribute to the 80’s, so yesterday when I hit the road, out came my acid wash jeans and graphic tee and my most beloved Jellies.

For those of you who are too young to remember or know about the 80s Jellies are shoes made from PVC plastic.

Back in the day they came mainly in clear plastic and contained glitter and should have been tagged wear at own risk in temperatures 80 degrees and above, because these babies and the heat did not get along.   Well like the acid wash jellies have come back better and cooler …literally (you can wear them in the sun now and not worry about feeling as it you are walking in melted plastic)

For my "friend" who cringes every time she sees or hear of  my Jellies .......I say   don’t know em until you have tried them. When  Converse comes out with a version i am sure you will be first in line  J

The 80's Are Back and I am actually Glad !!!!

Yesterday I went walk about with my camera and I got these 2 great shots and with it  a sudden flash back to the 80’s.  For those of us who lived through the 80’s the images below will conjure up memories of Lisa Frank Folders and Trapper Keeper, LA Gear and Punky Brewster.

Bright fun colours aside the 80’s are definitely back but thank god for time because like fine wine the fashion of the 80”s have become better with time … all the errors of that era have been corrected. I for one was one was a strong advocate of the Acid wash staying dead and buried but alas I currently have 2 pairs of the modern version in my closet. Acid wash aside check out the   modern version of the 80's fashion

LBD With An Edge

Name : Emily
Fashion Point of View: " ... fashion is an artistic expression . The painting an Artist expresses his feelings or his experience  as does a Composer's music or a Designer's clothing to me  fashion is an expression of what a person is  feeling  at  that  particular moment in time it is  not static ... it ever changing. Today you can be inspired by Victoria Beckham and  be all tailored tomorrow you can  be inspired by a homeless man and go with layers  of clothing of random fabric and colours. Fashion is  something that is personal and mood dependent.

My Spotting Eyes

How adorable  are those glasses ? Works for both a night or day look and that  jacket ... just makes me wish  it  got cold in Jamaica

These Boots Are Made For Walking

Name: Charissa
Fashion Point of View: “
I'm not really in to trends… I also love to buy clothes with a sale tag. That means it's not trendy anymore so i don't look like everybody else at that time and its allot cheaper than before. That means double fun for me!!... I dress based on emotions, moods, budget and personality…. Fashion is about who people are or who they want to be …”

Emily : I am  totally  in love with these boots..."happy happy joy joy" . Would totally  rock  the shirt and boots with a skinny jeans or a pair of denim shorts.
